Position OverviewWe are seeking engaging and professional Tour Guides with strong public speaking or performance backgrounds. Ideal candidates are confident communicators, natural storytellers, and comfortable leading groups in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience in theater, improv, music, public speaking, or hospitality is highly valued.

As a tour guide for Nashville Adventures, you’ll represent our company while delivering informative, entertaining tours that highlight the best of Nashville.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead well-structured, engaging walking tours throughout Nashville
- Deliver scripted and researched content clearly, confidently, and authentically
- Create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere for tour guests
- Answer questions and provide helpful insights about Nashville’s history and culture
- Maintain tour pacing, guest safety, and schedule accuracy
- Represent Nashville Adventures with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Assist with occasional private tours or special events
Required:
- Strong public speaking skills or performance background
- Ability to confidently lead groups of 20–30 people
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to memorize and present scripted material
- Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
- Evening and weekend availability
- Active, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Veterans
- Previous tour guiding experience
- Knowledge of Nashville history, music, architecture, or haunted legends (training provided)
- $15.00 per hour
- Tips (typically substantial)
