What You’ll Do
As a College Program Event Staff, you will gain insight into the inner workings of large-scale events through hands‑on experience. Students will contribute to grassroots marketing and promotion efforts, event execution, and assist with the planning and implementation of a racing event, all while representing the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix.
In this role, you’ll be an important part of delivering top‑tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You’ll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast‑paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
Experiential Marketing (March–July, optional opportunities for those interested):
- Engage fans at promotional and racing events throughout Middle Tennessee
- Manage displays and collateral at events
- Assist with event set‑up and tear down
- Assist with planning and execution of at‑track activations, such as autograph sessions
Race Weekend (July 17-19, required by all hires):
- Engage with clients in premium spaces to create a welcoming environment
- Execute, distribute, and educate customers about the Nashville Event Management liability releases and credentials
- Welcome guests into the facility at the exterior gates
- Assist guests with questions, directions, or other guest needs
Other:
- Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with coworkers, guests, and supervisors
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the INDYCAR brand and various athletes
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Education:
- High school graduate or Equivalent
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Leadership:
- This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities
Flexibility & Travel:
- Must be located in Nashville, TN or the surrounding area
- Travel to and from local communities for promotions and engagement as well as to and from Nashville Superspeedway
- Must be available for the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix race weekend (July 17-19)
- Optional opportunity to support promotional events, March – July if you are selected for the College Program
- Extended hours required during race weekend and key event periods, must be able to work overtime as needed
- Our teams work together to create flexibility that supports life in and out of work
