Ground Control Touring is looking for a Festivals Administrator to join our team in either Nashville, Brooklyn or Chicago
. They will perform a wide range of duties directly for our Head of Festivals, coordinating administrative and operational aspects of festival bookings. Successful candidates will possess 2+ years of experience in a music-related administrative role, with exposure to the festival booking process preferred but not mandatory.
- Maintain and update internal festivals tracking documents and databases for organization of outreach, offers, dates, confirmations and settlements
- Build festivals pitch desks, utilizing agency-designed tools
- Collaborate on artist interest and availability with agents, managers, and festivalbuyers
- Maintain detailed call notes and assist in project managing action items
- Provide feedback and festival target ideas for agent teams
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a music-related role, preferably with exposure tothe festivals booking process
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to handle a large volume of data management
- Excitement over Ground Control Touring’s roster and passionate live music fandom
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize new technology
- Experience with booking CRM or music industry software is a plus
- Knowledge of the festival ecosystem is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Opus database a plus
