Artist & Label Relations Lead

Sticks Management is looking for an Artist & Label Relations Lead to serve as the connector between our artists, their management team, and record label partners. This role reports to the department head and owns day-to-day project management for a roster of 2–3 artists, ensuring release strategies are executed on time, at the highest level, and authentic to each artist’s brand and vision.

• Take project management lead on 2–3 artists.
• Keep in lockstep communication with artist manager(s) to align on goals, needs and present plans to artist(s) as needed.
• Project manage and oversee music release plans, timelines, strategies and execution across record label(s) to ensure things are on time, maximized and authentic to the artist’s brand and wants.
• Build and maintain relationships with label partners.
• Work in tandem with all label departments including Creative/Content, Streaming/Sales, Marketing, International, Media, Sync, Digital, Radio, etc.
• Help update appropriate label counterparts with key dates and artist approvals.
• Keep track of necessary production deadlines to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner.
• Work with Digital Marketing & Creative departments at Sticks Mgmt to align social/digital strategies, creative needs and execution.
• Maintain communication and relationships with DSP artist reps and work in tandem on respective DSP activations.
• Work in tandem with the artist’s PR agency (when applicable) and/or their label PR rep to strategize award show campaigns, press opportunities and review/update media assets.
• Manage and send weekly internal project updates to artist manager(s) of outstanding items, deadlines and ongoing projects.
• Send weekly project updates to artist(s) recapping highlights of their current music release/focus(es) (radio/charts, etc.).

• 2+ years of experience in artist management, record labels, or music project coordination.
• Prior experience managing release cycles and/or working directly with record labels strongly preferred.
• Excellent project management skills; comfortable managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between artist/management priorities and label operations.
• High attention to detail, especially around approvals, deadlines, and asset tracking.
• Proactive, self-directed, and able to anticipate needs before they become urgent.
• Comfortable working with senior artists, managers, and label executives with professionalism and discretion.
• Working knowledge of the music release ecosystem: streaming/sales, marketing, media, sync, radio, and international rollout.
• Proficiency with project management tools and standard office/communication tools.

• Existing relationships with label partners, DSP reps, or PR agencies.
• Experience supporting award season campaigns or press strategy.
