Senior Unity UI Animator

Role overview

A mobile game studio is looking for an experienced UI animator to craft polished in-game visual moments that reach millions of players. The role focuses on building expressive interface animations and effects inside Unity, partnering with designers and developers across a large portfolio of casual titles.

• Author and ship UI animations in Unity, including end-of-round screens, offer flows, widgets, pop-ups, transitions, and micro-interactions.
• Build animation sequences and state flows using Unity's Animator tooling.
• Create and integrate visual effects through Unity Particle Systems.
• Apply Spine-based skeletal assets inside Unity for animated UI elements.
• Work closely with designers and developers to shape dynamic, expressive interface experiences.
• Maintain a portfolio-quality approach across every animation shipped.

• Strong hands-on experience producing UI animation in Unity.
• Confident command of Unity Animator and Unity Particle System.
• Working knowledge of Spine and integrating Spine assets in Unity.
• Prior game development experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating Unity-built UI screen animations, VFX/effects work, and character animation.
• Creativity and a drive to deliver standout, surprising results.

• Drawing skills.
• Experience with 3D animation.
• Familiarity writing or working with shaders in Unity 3D.
• Curiosity about AI tooling and hands-on experience integrating AI into animation pipelines.
