- Prior leadership or supervisory experience (managed staff or directed accounting workflows), preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
- Hands-on experience with Quick Books Online (other systems experience a plus)
- Ability to organize systems and create consistency across environments
- Strong communication skills – able to explain financial concepts in plain language
- Reliable self-starter who can manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, but able to see the bigger picture
- Resides in the Nashville, TN area (occasional client onsite visits required)
- Experience supporting multiple clients or operating in a fractional/outsourced model
- Comfort developing SOPs and improving financial processes across different environments
- Ability to simplify complexity and create order from messy or growing systems
- Experience with construction accounting / job costing
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Flexible schedule
- Opportunity to grow into increased client-facing responsibility and leadership over time
