As an Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in creating impactful client-facing Excel models and Powerpoint presentations for companies navigating mergers and acquisitions in the vacation rental industry. This role combines analytical precision with creative storytelling, requiring a strong ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling visuals.

Your primary responsibility will be designing professional-grade Excel and PowerPoint presentations that showcase financial insights, strategic recommendations, and industry trends. Collaborating closely with Associates and Advisors, you’ll ensure that each presentation effectively communicates value and aligns with the unique needs of each client.

In addition to presentation creation, you’ll contribute to the broader M&A process by supporting the preparation of materials that reflect the rigor of your analysis and the client’s strengths. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare Valuations, Confidential Information Memorandums, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support all functions to coordinate and review due diligence materials and create data rooms
  • Assist and participate in the execution of M&A transactions from deal origination to closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
  • Conduct extensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, forecasts and comparable company analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external participants and teams to perform due diligence, including reviewing financial statements, conducting market research, and analyzing industry trends.
  • Examine deal breakers, issues and resolutions, and integration challenges.
  • Monitor and track industry and market trends to identify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings, conference calls, and presentations with clients, investors, and senior professionals.
  • Deal and data management, including updating and extensive use of database/ deal management software – including Microsoft 365, Hubspot, Firmex.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (2+ years) in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, consulting, or a similar role with exposure to M&A transactions. High-performing recent graduates with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Specialty in modeling and CIM design is a plus
  • Dedication and willingness to work long hours and take on significant responsibilities.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant financial tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and transactions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
