This position is located at our Nashville location.

IsThis Position For You?
We are looking for someone to work with the Collections Manager in supervising, coaching, and organizing daily activities within the Collections Department which includes collections, records, and insurance. Ensures collections policies and procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations are being adhered to.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesA high school diploma is required. College, business school or other post high school business training is preferred.
ExperiencePrefer two years of experience in collections and or equivalent position in the collection of consumer loan accounts. Leadership or supervisory experience and other financial institution experience is preferred. Personal computer experience is required.
Physical, Mental and Visual RequirementsMost of the essential functions of this position are performed while seated at a desk. Extensive telephone work is performed requiring good verbal communication skills. Much of the work is performed using a personal computer and requires good visual ability and manual dexterity. In working with repossessed collateral and foreclosed property, heavy lifting may be required t be able to move freely from one area to another, as well as occasionally travel to inspect the condition of property.
The volume and nature of the duties of this position require the physical and mental stamina to handle multiple functions, meet required deadlines, and withstand periods of high stress.
A valid driver s license is required as a company car is often used.
Personal QualificationsA professional appearance and demeanor are required. Must be detailed oriented with good organizational skills. Must be an effective communicator. Strong initiative, consistency in work habits, dependability, and a positive attitude are also required. Must be able to function as a team player with the ability to coach, lead, and motivate staff. Must cooperate with co-workers, members, and business associates.
