A privately held hospitality and real estate investment organization is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Vice President of Finance to join its executive leadership team. This individual will partner closely with the CEO and key stakeholders to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and provide leadership across all accounting and finance functions.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance executive who enjoys operating at both a strategic and operational level while helping guide a growing portfolio of hospitality and real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial strategy, planning, and performance.
- Lead all accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash management, payroll, and compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Manage banking relationships, financing activities, and capital planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, USALI, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business entities and properties.
- Oversee internal controls, risk management, audit activities, and financial process improvements.
- Serve as the primary financial liaison to investors, lenders, ownership groups, and external business partners.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high‑performing accounting and finance team.
- Support acquisition, investment, and growth initiatives through financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility.
- Prior experience within hospitality, real estate, investment management, or related industries.
- Multi-property hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality performance metrics, including occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Experience with hospitality financial systems such as Profit Sword, M3, Hotel Effectiveness, or similar platforms.
- Proven success leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury, audit, and compliance functions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
