Tower Community Bank Senior Commercial Lending Officer
The Senior Commercial Lender plays a key role in driving loan growth and strengthening the bank’s presence in the communities it serves. This position focuses on building long‑term relationships with small to mid‑sized businesses, providing customized lending solutions and expanding into a menu of bank deposit and loan services. The Senior Lender is involved in community activities, acts as the bank’s presence in civic affairs, balances loan growth, credit quality, and personalized service, helps define new product needs, and mentors junior officers and other staff in the Commercial Lending group.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
- 7‑10+ years of commercial lending experience, preferably within a community or regional bank
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics and small to mid‑sized business needs
- Demonstrated ability to develop business through relationships and referrals
- Well‑developed credit skills with experience in CRE and C&I lending
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high‑touch, service‑oriented mindset
- Office‑based with significant time spent in the community meeting clients and prospects; this is not a remote position
- Position will work within the bank’s total market – Middle Tennessee and the Chattanooga commercial market
- Emphasis on business development and mentoring/counseling other lenders
