Senior Income Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Income Tax Accountant to join an industry-leading organization to manage key efforts for the financial team. The focus of this role will be to lead corporate income tax compliance, planning, and provision. They are also responsible for preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns, tax provision preparation, and tax planning.

• Prepare annual tax returns and extensions for corporate and partnership taxes
• Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments
• Reconcile and roll forward various tax-related accounts
• Participate in the preparation of the annual income tax provision calculation (ASC 740)
• Conduct research on tax questions/issues and participate in other special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA Preferred)
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive income tax experience
• Demonstrate experience working with an ERP system, with Oracle experience preferred
• Have experience working with IBM Planning and Analysis, which is a plus
• Have experience working with Excel for Apps GL Wand and Reports wand, which is a plus
• Possess a CPA or current eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
• Have experience with multi-state corporate and partnership income tax returns
• Be able to research issues, make recommendations, and learn new systems and processes quickly
• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
