Treasury Management (Payment Solutions) Officer Position Summary
The Treasury Management Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and growing treasury management relationships for business and commercial clients of the bank. This role focuses on delivering cash management solutions that help customers improve liquidity, streamline payments, reduce fraud risk, and optimize daily financial operations. The Treasury Management Officer partners closely with commercial bankers, branch teams, and operations staff to identify client needs and provide tailored treasury products and services.
The role will work closely with a seasoned banking team that generates referrals and serves an existing client base.
- Develop and expand treasury management (payment solutions) relationships with existing and prospective business customers.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products and services such as:
- Business online banking
- ACH origination
- Positive pay and fraud prevention tools
- Sweep accounts and liquidity solutions
- Partner with commercial lenders and retail teams to support deposit growth and deepen customer relationships.
- Conduct client calls, sales presentations, and treasury reviews to uncover opportunities.
- Assist with onboarding new treasury management clients and ensure a smooth implementation process.
- Provide training and ongoing support to customers on treasury management products and services.
- Monitor customer usage, service issues, and satisfaction to retain and expand relationships.
- Stay current on industry trends, banking regulations, and treasury products.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with operations, deposit services, and compliance teams to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
- 2+ years of banking, treasury management, cash management, or commercial banking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of treasury management products, deposit accounts, and payment systems.
- Understanding of business banking operations, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent sales, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide practical financial solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
- Knowledge of ACH, wire processing, and online banking platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving ability.
- Familiarity with commercial client onboarding and implementation processes.
- Hybrid office with travel for customer and prospect meetings.
- Typical full‑time banking schedule with flexibility based on business needs.
