Davis Hill Development (DHD) is a solar integrated power producer (IPP), and subsidiary of Skyview Ventures, an investment firm active in many parts of the green economy. DHD is hiring a Finance Associate to join its Project Finance and FP&A team. This position will support and lead select company financial transactions, operations, project underwriting, equity and debt closings, and market research.

The position will report directly to the CFO and be located in either the Nashville, TN or Greenwich, CT offices.

What You’ll Do
  • Own various models, spanning valuation, underwriting, budgeting, and related capital markets.
  • Lead underwriting of DHD origination opportunities and select M&A opportunities, reviewing recommendations directly with CEO.
  • Automate finance workflows to streamline data collection and analyses.
  • Own market intelligence and cross-team work streams to keep market rates, REC prices, project costs, and other inputs up to date in models
  • Design and own new finance-related reports and summaries for use across the business and for internal/external stakeholder reporting
  • Support Project Finance Managers in due diligence and modeling requests for third-party financial closes (pref equity, tax equity, debt) and M&A acquisitions
  • Guide DHD Origination campaigns with knowledge of market outlook and underwriting standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or accounting
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in energy, real estate, or a related field (preferably in solar)
  • Highly proficient in building and maintaining complex models in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with finance modeling topics such as debt sizing, capital structuring, and investor waterfalls. Tax equity knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • A knack for creating processes and automating tasks stemming from recurring problems and repeated work
  • Demonstration of leadership, problem solving, and collaboration in prior work experience
  • A desire to establish and grow one’s career in the clean energy finance space
