Are you a strategic finance leader who enjoys partnering with executive leadership to drive business decisions through financial analysis and operational insights?
A growing, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking an Interim Director of Finance to provide executive-level financial leadership during a transition period. This role combines strategic finance, operational analytics, and leadership oversight. While the organization has strong Accounting and Revenue Cycle leaders in place, this position provides financial oversight and guidance to those functions while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement with an immediate need for someone who can quickly step into a highly visible leadership role.
What You'll Do- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic decision support.
- Provide financial oversight and leadership to the Accounting and Revenue Cycle functions, partnering closely with department leaders.
- Develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models that support organizational growth.
- Analyze operational and financial performance to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Manage physician compensation models and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Leverage Power BI and other reporting tools to deliver meaningful business intelligence.
- Ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer of existing financial reporting models.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, HR, and corporate finance teams.
- Present financial data and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Healthcare industry experience required
. - Experience leading or overseeing accounting and revenue cycle functions.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience, including physician compensation modeling.
- Advanced Power BI skills with experience building dashboards and business reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
- Experience supporting operational leadership through financial decision support.
- Ability to quickly learn complex business models and provide immediate value.
- $65 to $85 per hour.
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
- Open-ended interim engagement.
- Onsite during onboarding and transition.
- Hybrid schedule available following successful onboarding.
- Highly visible finance leadership role with direct executive exposure.
