Sr. Actuarial Analyst

FM is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst to deliver high-impact insights that drive pricing, reserving, and risk decisions. In this role, you will build and enhance actuarial models, analyze loss experience and portfolio performance, and translate complex results into clear recommendations for leadership and underwriting teams. You will work with large datasets using tools such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software, ensuring data quality and methodological rigor.

The position offers the chance to influence product strategy, support financial planning, and mentor junior analysts in a collaborative, analytical environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing and reserving
• Analyze loss trends, profitability, and portfolio performance
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and underwriting teams
• Support financial forecasting and capital planning with actuarial insights
• Validate data, perform experience studies, and ensure model accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new products and rate filings
• Document methods, assumptions, and results to meet audit and regulatory standards
• Mentor junior analysts and review their analytical work
