Position SummaryWe’re currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst of Merchandising to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role will provide strategic decision support and be a trusted business partner for Bridgestone Retail Operations. This successful teammate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Merchandising Finance.
Location & HybridThis role is a HYBRID position in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ Bridgestone HQ in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities- Serve as a key contributor to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Ensure financial results are reported in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Interpret and analyze income statements and balance sheets.
- Develop complex financial models.
- Possess strong analytical & evaluation skills.
- Proactively drive strategy and finance discussions within the business.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support and/or lead highly visible special projects on an ad hoc basis.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Communicate candidly and directly to various levels of leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / MBA a plus
- Minimum of five 3+ years of related work experience
- Extensive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience
- Analytical skills, advanced modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting experience.
- Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with large amounts of data from various sources
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform well under tight timelines
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with peers and business leaders to gain support for the execution of strategies and initiatives that need to be implemented
- Experience creating Power BI Dashboards is a plus
