Overview
This is a Part-Time,
Seasonal Position with the Metropolitan Action Commission's Summer Food Program. This position is under the direct supervision of the Summer Food Service Program Coordinator and the general supervision of the CSBG/LIHEAP Program Director. The position is responsible for the management, monitoring, and reporting of the Summer Food Service Program to supervisors.
THIS IS A PART‑TIME, SEASONAL POSITION / NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS
This position will start June 1st and end July 31st, 2026

Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:00 A.M.
- 11:00 A.M.
Or
Monday - Friday 10:00 A.M.
- 2:00 P.M.
Extensive Background Check test is performed on applicants for this position with MAC.
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-operational site visits and site reviews
- Observe meal service operations
- Check on‑site operations to ensure personnel are maintaining accurate records related to the Summer Food Service Program
- Ensure program records can be monitored with minimal or no notice
- Ensure program operates in agreement with the requirements
- Complete and submit weekly reports of visits and reviews to the Program Coordinators
- Assume other job‑related duties as requested
- Coordinate with the staff to make special arrangements for participants and/or staff when needed
High School Diploma, GED, or HiSet Certification. Valid Driver License.
Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
Experienced with proper lifting up to 50 pounds.
Note:
Per Metro Ordinance No. C094-1078, all employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
