Position Overview / Duties- Reviews and analyzes overhead budgetary data prepared by functional district offices and determines impact from program and budget guidance.
- Develops plans, procedures, and instructions for the formulation and execution of the District operating budget, covering income from appropriations and reimbursable funds.
- Provides advice and assistance in the development of budget requests and supporting documentation.
- Reviews, analyzes, and edits budget requests for conformance with instructions and reconciles estimates with program guidance and staffing changes.
- Exercises budget controls through review and approval of obligations and expenditures for management and administrative purposes, including payment of personnel salaries and expenses.
- Prepares manpower and affordability data in charts, reports, and narrative material.
- Prepares special studies, reports, and schedules on financial management, costs, obligations, expenditures, trends, and historical data for management and higher authority.

- PROVIDE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE STATEMENT:
One year of specialized experience including assistance with the formulation and execution of budget proposals, administration of a funding program involving appropriations, manpower management, and ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. - PROVIDE EDUCATION – INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
For this grade level, qualification requires experience alone; education cannot substitute for experience.
