The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) is seeking applicants for the position of Billings Specialist
1. This position is located in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision, plans, organizes and manages the operation of the billing functions such as preparation and distribution of invoices, third party payers, preparing claims and posting cash receipts. Analyzes complex billing data and prepares reports for revenue and expenses and other statistical data.
- Enter invoices daily.
- Enter receipts.
- Balance reports/monthly closing reports.
- Restricted funds.
- General Journal Entries/ReRates.
High School diploma/GED AND one (1) year of job related experience in accounting, billing, or budget services.
Preferred Qualifications- Customer service experience.
- Accounting/office experience.
- Adhere to strict deadlines.
- Microsoft office suite/Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Must be able to multi task and work well with a team.
