Organization: Neurodiagnostic - EEG

Performs complex Neurodiagnostic studies in the operative environment under occasional guidance. Has knowledge of advanced Neurosurgical, Vascular, ENT, and Orthopedic procedures and understands the anatomical structures at risk.

• FT | Days M-F | 6:30am - 3:00pm

• Performs complex multi-modality intraoperative procedures with the ability to collect data pertinent to the interpretation of test results.
• Review planned intraoperative procedure and orders for monitoring to determine the structures at risk relative to patient history/pre-existing conditions and monitoring requested.
• Teaches and mentors students as assigned by Team Leader.
• Serve as a departmental point of contact in the absence of the Team Leader and provide team with daily logistical and technical direction.

• Diagnostic Testing (Novice):
  Demonstrates proficiency of diagnostic testing in practical applications. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results.
• Equipment Maintenance (Novice):
  Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Assures that parts inventory is sufficient.
• Training & Development (Novice):
  Has presented course modules as part of a program. Effectively prepared by demonstrating knowledge in course content, structure and objectives, as well as audience characteristics. Demonstrated audience sensitivity and awareness. Responded professionally to content questions.
• Medical Terminology & Documentation (Novice):
  Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate medical terminology and documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
• Patient Evaluation (Novice):
  Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to conduct a patient evaluation in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Capable of effectively assessing the relative merits of alternative products or services.
