Job Title: Physician Assistant ? Podiatry & Wound Care Specialist

Location: Primarily local with travel to Memphis, TN (once every 2 months for 4 days)
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Position Overview:
FootCareUSA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant with strong experience in podiatry and wound care to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving patient outcomes in homecare and nursing facility settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive podiatric and wound care services to patients in homecare facilities and nursing homes
    .
  • Perform wound assessments, debridements, dressing changes, graft applications, and wound VAC management as needed.
  • Conduct routine and urgent podiatric evaluations, including diabetic foot care, ulcer prevention, and post-operative follow-up.
  • Document all encounters thoroughly in compliance with facility and company standards.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • ravel periodically to Memphis, Chattanooga, and Knoxville to provide on-site patient care in designated facilities (approximately every 2 months for 4-day trips)
  • Serve as a resourceful and proactive team member, capable of identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in podiatry and/or wound care.
  • Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, treatment planning, and procedural wound care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various care environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Memphis.

Preferred

Skills:

  • Experience with nursing home and homecare patient populations.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge of diabetic foot care protocols and advanced wound care techniques.
