Are you looking to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents? Join Richland Place and help develop/provide therapeutic programs which meets each patient's "individual" needs while providing an atmosphere of FUN and ENJOYMENT and other duties as requested. Applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative. The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care.

Position Highlights:

• Lead the Activities team and provide support, developing and implementing a well-rounded Activities program for all patients to include evenings and weekends, celebrating holidays and big events.
• Timely completion of assessments, care plans and associated paperwork
• Facilitating monthly Resident Council meetings
• Supervising activities assistants to include training, scheduling, evaluation, etc.
• Managing the center volunteer program to include recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition
• Ensuring that all local, State and Federal guidelines regarding programming are met
• Partnering with other departments to support marketing efforts in the community
• Safely transport patients/residents to and from appointments and/or activities
• Other duties as assigned

ExperienceAssociate's degree from an accredited college or university OR
Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR
Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care

Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
