Ascension Saint Thomas is a 40‑bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that has been offering exceptional care to the Nashville community for over 3 years. We are proud to be recognized by:

• Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Design and implement a plan of care that is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Supervise activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Applicants should have a current state board of speech‑language pathology & audiology certification. Additional requirements include:

• Education:
  
  Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (required)
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
