As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to support and elevate the operational performance of our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) business unit.
Position OverviewThe Senior Manager, RCM will play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue cycle processes and financial performance for our OMS business. This leader will drive best-in‑class billing, collections, compliance, and analytic strategies across multiple practice sites and clinical offerings.
This role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams including Clinical Operations, IT, Accounts Receivable, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing RCM team focused on OMS service lines
- Design, implement, and optimize revenue cycle workflows (pre‑bill, billing, AR follow‑up, cash posting) to maximize reimbursement and minimize days outstanding
- Oversee coding accuracy, documentation compliance, charge capture, and payer contract adherence
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with clinical leadership on payer strategy, denials management, appeals, and reimbursement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, payer policies, and industry best practices
- Collaborate on technology enhancements (EHR/PM systems, automation tools, analytics platforms) to scale RCM operations
- Act as a subject matter expert on billing and compliance for OMS procedures and services
- This role requires the ability to travel up to 20% as needed
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive RCM leadership experience, ideally in surgical specialties or multi‑site ambulatory care
- Deep knowledge of OMS billing, CPT/HCPCS, ICD‑10 coding, and payer landscapes
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of process improvement and operational excellence
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver measurable results
- Expertise in payer negotiations, denial mitigation strategies, and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with dental/surgical practice management systems and revenue integrity platforms
- Prior success scaling RCM in a growing or complex business unit environment
