Position Overview
The Account Manager will be responsible for successfully selling the entire Health Stream product suite to individual and team sales clients. This role focuses on meeting or exceeding sales quotas within a specific territory and building upon existing Health Stream relationships to broaden exposure and understanding of the value of Health Stream solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for adhering to all Health Stream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
- Develop, pursue and close add‑on sales opportunities, targeting each Health Stream offering to each named client.
- Provide efforts and increase customer utilization of Health Stream adopted solutions and services.
- Attend HUG meetings virtually or in person, share best practices, handle escalation/triage of customer issues, or other efforts to manage client participation.
- Identify and qualify opportunities: align solutions with client initiatives, develop deep customer knowledge, secure executive sponsorship, resolve obstacles, and design take‑out opportunities.
- Demonstrate, propose, and present: demonstrate solutions, present compelling value proposition, develop proposals, answer questions, build ROI/business case, and follow up.
- Lead RFP/Capture teams: support RFI/FRP response strategy, secure references, handle pricing strategy.
- Negotiate and close business: create contracts, negotiate terms, secure signatures, process contracts, transition clients to implementation.
- Territory planning and pipeline management: develop territory plans, manage pipeline in CRM, support sales leadership.
- Contribute to the Health Stream Sales Community: share best practices, facilitate discussions, collaborate with other sales.
- Undertake personal and professional development: maintain product knowledge, build expertise in healthcare trends, enhance skills.
- Value‑added member of broader community: work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, and Project Managers to create value‑added solutions aligned with our vision.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BA/BS).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent organizational and response skills.
- Strong presentation skills and executive presence.
- Ability to develop relationships from C‑suite to end users.
