This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations:
Troubadour Golf & Field Club, set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a supervisor to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.

This is a full-time, hourly role. Must be available to work opening and closing shifts, weekends & holidays. Starting pay is $21-$23 per hour.

Responsibilities

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is a premier Golf course community bringing outdoor activities, and neighbors together in a powerful and unique way. The Comfort Station Supervisor will be an integral part of the Food and beverage where quality and service are at the heart of everything we do. The Comfort Station Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Comfort Station operations and staff.

The individual will be working closely with the Comfort Station Manager to develop programming to bring the membership together and will represent the Food and Beverage team with honor and professionalism.

  • Other responsibilities are but not be limited to:
    Inventory, product ordering, training and managing the staff, and maintaining the highest levels of quality and control possible
  • Able to manage labor cost, beverage cost, and operating costs and kept in line with budgets
  • Able to work independently and engage with members on all occasions particular club wide tournaments and celebrations
  • Shares member feedback with the team at large to continuously improve
  • Conduct inventory counts of all Comfort Station items
  • Assist with execution and development of training Comfort Station Attendants to ensure all job expectations are understood
  • Provide an exceptional level of service for all members and guests during comfort station experience
  • Make sure all comfort stations are in compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations at all times
  • Report any maintenance problems or safety issues promptly
  • Proactive approach to communication with kitchen and outside vendors to ensure products are never unavailable
  • Make sure daily set-up and break down is consistent and in line with SOP’s
Skills And Experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years in the guest services industry/Food and Beverage
  • 1 year of previous management/supervisor experience
  • Work experience working in a high-end club, hotel or resort, with Forbes standards is preferred but not required
  • Active TABC, bartending and serving experience
  • Good judgment and decision making
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on the weekends.
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of all major software needed
  • Polished verbal and written communication, fluent in English
  • Excellent training skills, positively interacts with all team members and club members
  • Detail orientation and able to maintain a surgical clean work environment
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Recruitment of staff, design effective schedules and coach performance
  • Customer service oriented with unquestioned hospitality skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Ability to meet physical and mental requirements of the position which will include working indoors and outside
Education And Requirements
  • 4-year college degree preferred, but combination of education and relevant position training and experience will be considered.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs
  • Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
  • Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions
  • This position requires physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, and reaching
  • This position will require the ability to drive a golf cart
