Position: Door Attendant - Omni Nashville Hotel - $15 -$18/hour

Door Attendant - Nashville Omni Hotel

Starting Pay: $15 - $18 per hour

No experience needed.

Open availability required.

Compensation: Hourly base pay $15 - $18 per hour plus $5 - $9 per hour in tips.

Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, holidays, all shifts.

Benefits: Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, 401(k) plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Open doors for all guests entering and exiting the facility and assist guests with transportation to off‑site locations.
  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greet guests promptly.
  • Practice proper phone etiquette; remain in designated areas when not completing tasks.
  • Assist guests with room changes, delivery and pickup of items, vehicle and hotel door openings.
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions.
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • Must complete the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park.
  • Must be able to read and write standard English; read simple instructions; write simple correspondence.
  • Must be able to present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand time and rate calculations.
  • Ability to understand 24‑hour and military time systems.
  • Maintain accuracy and composure under pressure.
Physical Requirements

Regularly sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, handle objects; lift up to 100 lbs occasionally. Work outdoors for extended periods; exposure to extreme heat/cold. Travel up to 5% may be required.
