Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant General Manager located in Nashville, TN. The position includes managing daily operations, overseeing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities encompass coordinating day-to-day activities, facilitating team leadership, implementing operational policies, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, the Assistant General Manager collaborates closely with other management, drives team motivation, addresses guest inquiries, and upholds the company's values of service excellence and hospitality.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of management experience in a bar or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations, food & beverage service, and liquor laws
  • Leadership and team management skills to oversee staff and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High-energy, hands‑on leadership style
  • Operational skills in hospitality, including knowledge of restaurant/bar operations, safety regulations, and compliance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive guest experience and resolve inquiries effectively
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or food & beverage industry is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 40 lbs
  • Work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
