This position serves as a consultative partner in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies that align with key business initiatives and enhance the Company’s talent acquisition program success.

Job Duties
*** Lead, plan, organize, deliver, and evaluate talent acquisition strategies ensuring alignment with business strategy for assigned LOBs.
* Serve as a trainer and coach for team members on all aspects of sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of exempt and non-exempt employees.
* Support and champion Company recruitment branding strategy to effectively attract top talent by building awareness and promoting localized recruiting efforts through social media channels.
* Recommend ideas for improvement in talent acquisition processes, procedures, and hiring quality.
* Responsible for coaching business leaders around talent acquisition hiring practices, interview skills, and best practice selection methods.
* Ensure team attendance at onsite hiring events, career fairs and promote a positive company image and communicate opportunities provided by LKQ and its subsidiaries.
* Maintain knowledge of broad HR policies, programs, laws, and issues with a focus on how they systematically relate to talent practices.
* Assume other duties as assigned.

*** Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
** Minimum Requirements
**** Education & Experience
*** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of related staffing/recruitment experience.
* Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
* Experience with candidate management/applicant tracking systems and processes

* 2+ years’ experience supervising and leading a team of recruiters.
** Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
*** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
* Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
* Frequently communicates complex information across departments and interacts with management. Can present, resolve and address delicate situations. Can motivate and persuade others.
* Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, general precedents and practices.
* Decisions impact the management and operations within a department or business unit. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department.
* Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional areas. May make recommendations for department policies, practices, and programs. Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
* Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

*** Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
* Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
