Payroll Manager

Soni is partnering with a client seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee full-cycle, multi-state payroll operations. This role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing while serving as a key resource for employees and leadership.

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including new hires, pay changes, and terminations
• Oversee commissions, benefit deductions, garnishments, and tax with holdings
• Review payroll reports and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulations
• Maintain employee tax documentation and support year-end reporting
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve payroll inquiries and improve processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state, public company environment
• Payroll certification (CPP, FPC, or CPS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance and reporting
• Proficiency in payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and communication skills

$90,000 - $115,000
