Job Description & How to Apply Below
Overview
Seeking a forward-thinking Automation & Data Analyst to join the "Integration and Automation Cell" at the National Coordination Center (NCC). This is not a backend reporting role; you will be the architect of efficiency for a 24/7/365 federal law enforcement mission.
Your goal is to reduce the "Non-Detained National Docket" by replacing manual processes with smart automation. You will build the logic that transforms static database records into actionable enforcement packages for ICE Officers.
Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Actionable Insights
- Tool Development & Continuous Improvement
- Process Automation & Workflow Engineering
- Docket Reduction Strategy:
Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline case management for over 7 million non-detained cases. - Automated Case Review:
Design workflows that automatically identify cases nearing the end of the immigration lifecycle and flag them for expedited review, replacing manual file dredging with algorithmic targeting. - System Integration:
Support the automation of updates to federal systems (EARM), ensuring that critical data points—like criminality changes or final order status—are updated within strict 5-to-10-day operational windows. - Predictive Modeling:
Create data models to identify high-priority cases based on risk factors, criminality, and public safety threats. - Operational Reporting:
Generate actionable insights and ad-hoc analysis for ICE Headquarters, converting raw call center metrics into strategic intelligence. - Visualization:
Design executive-level dashboards using Tableau, Power Pivot, and Excel to visualize trends, patterns, and linkages in criminal alien data. - Bot & Script Deployment:
Customize automation tools to streamline data collection and reporting, monitoring their reliability to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. - Civil Fines & Bonds:
Architect the data logic required to generate minimum daily quotas (500+) of actionable civil fine packets and track immigration bond life cycles. - Citizenship:
Must be a United States Citizen. - Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in data analytics, process automation, or business intelligence.
- Technical Stack:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL, Excel (VBA/Macros), Access, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Analytical Mindset:
Proven ability to formulate and define system scope and translate complex business needs into technical system specifications. - Communication:
Ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical law enforcement leadership. - Experience with Service Now or similar low-code/no-code workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with federal datasets (e.g., NCIC, EARM, ACRIMe) or similar law enforcement case management systems.
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts or implementation.
