As Quality Assurance (QA) Leader here at Our Company, you are the person responsible for ensuring the quality of all our products or features throughout their lifecycle. This involves improving existing and developing new quality assurance processes, as well as leading our team of offshore QA professionals. You will collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve quality issues proactively. Are you the detail-oriented, passionate professional we are looking for?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive quality improvements for each product, enabling engineering teams to deliver higher quality by default.
  • Study existing technology landscapes and understand current application workloads.
  • Review existing automated testing processes within CICD pipelines to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to optimize component integration.
  • Develop and implement QA plans, including creating and executing test cases and documentation.
  • Manage offshore QA teams, assign tasks, provide feedback, and foster collaboration.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and verify product functionality.
  • Analyze defect trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in QA processes, adopt new technologies, and foster a culture of quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to QA team members.
  • Offer training and development to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify risks, and align on quality expectations.
  • Report on quality metrics and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Ideal Candidate:

    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
    • Proficient in executing test cases.
    • Obsessive about quality, detail, and accuracy.
    • Passionate about product quality, user experience, and engineering standards.
    • Over 5 years of QA experience, with enthusiasm for delivering high-quality products.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Experience with analytics platforms or product testing is highly preferred.
    • Skilled in troubleshooting and reproducing issues for development teams.
    • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure components.
    • Ability to write end-to-end SaaS testing scenarios and system robustness tests.
    • Knowledge of test management software and SQL.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills across diverse teams and time zones.
    • Mentorship skills to support team growth and effectiveness.
