Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.

- 1+ year of experience with Health Level 7 (HL7)

- 3+ years of experience with Azure

- Python, ADF, Databricks, SQL

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred but not required.

- Preference for onsite in their Kalamazoo, MI or Nashville, TN offices. Will also accept remote in PA, VA, OH, MI, WI, MN or MO.

Skills and Expertise:

· Healthcare Data:
Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7. Experience with EHR and EMR systems.

· HRIS Data:
Familiarity with extracting data from HRIS systems such as ADP, Dayforce, iCIMS, Workday, etc.

· Data Lake Architecture:
Knowledge of data lake load strategies, architectures, file formats, and security.

· Data Pipelines:
Expertise in building and monitoring both streaming and batch data pipelines (with CDC), including technologies like Azure Data Factory.
