Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join their team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Department supporting the US Consumer Banking Business.
Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite - Need to work from office 3 days a week)
Pay Range:
What’s the Job?- Support gap assessment against client cyber policies and standards, and help define remediation plans to address identified gaps.
- Coordinate penetration testing of networks and applications, and conduct security reviews related to third-party security, data security, vulnerability management, and secure configuration.
- Assist in executing security risk assessments during the change and development lifecycle to identify vulnerabilities and embed security controls.
- Support governance activities for the Cybersecurity function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide guidance and security reviews to various teams, including CISO, BISO, CIO, and product teams, to mitigate risks effectively.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in cyber and information security, preferably in CISO or security consultancy roles.
- Broad expertise across network security, cloud, IAM, data protection, application security, and third-party security.
- Understanding of security strategies, including secure network design, penetration testing, compliance auditing, and encryption.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
- Experience discussing technology with product developers and contributing to security best practices and processes.
