Overview
This role is responsible for designing, building, and owning enterprise system integrations that enable reliable, secure data and process flow across Holley’s technology ecosystem. The Senior Integrations Engineer will lead the development of scalable, well-governed integrations spanning ERP, CRM, WMS, e-commerce, finance, and operational platforms.
The role will primarily leverage Workato as Holley’s enterprise iPaaS
, with increasing responsibility for Infor ION–based integrations as Holley expands its Infor ERP footprint. This position requires strong integration architecture skills, hands-on platform expertise, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant integrations using Workato and, increasingly, Infor ION.
- Design reusable integration components, templates, and patterns to improve consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability across the integration landscape.
- Leverage pre-built connectors where appropriate while designing and developing custom connectors when required to meet business and technical needs.
- Lead the creation of APIs, workflows, and orchestration patterns supporting ERP, WMS, e-commerce, CRM, finance, and operational systems.
- Own the full integration lifecycle
, including requirements analysis, mapping, orchestration, error handling, retries, alerting, and performance optimization. - Partner with application owners, business SMEs, and vendors to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Apply modern SDLC and Dev Ops practices for integration development, including version control, peer review, testing, and controlled deployment of integration workflows and APIs.
- Maintain and optimize integration monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to ensure high availability, performance, and proactive issue detection.
- Act as a technical escalation point for integration failures, data issues, and platform-level configuration problems
. - Enforce best practices related to security, authentication, governance, and data integrity across all integrations.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of Holley’s integration architecture by evaluating new patterns, tools, and platform capabilities.
- Produce and maintain clear integration documentation
, including design artifacts, configuration details, naming standards, and operational runbooks. - Provide technical guidance and best practices to other team members contributing to integration development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, API development, or enterprise application integration roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms (Boomi, Mule Soft, Snap Logic).
- Solid background in API design and consumption (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
- Working knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, API keys).
- Experience with event-driven, message-based, and asynchronous integration patterns
. - Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system integration issues and collaborate with business users to gather, clarify, and validate integration requirements.
