AS​/400 Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Web Developer (AS/400) to join their team. As a Web Developer (AS/400), you will be part of the IT Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Design, build, and test web-based applications for various site components
• Edit and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Document technical designs and specifications for ongoing maintenance and upgrades
• Research and incorporate updated content to enhance website functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

• Advanced proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 programming language
• Experience with bug reporting and error identification in job logs
• Knowledge of IBM DB2/400, IBM System i (AS/400), RPGLE, CLLE, RPG, and Agile methodologies
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in web development and mainframe environments
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
