We are looking for a Machine Learning Specialist to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems at the core of Vedit AI — our cloud-based video editing platform. You will work directly with the founder to develop ML-powered editing capabilities that automate and enhance the video production workflow, from intelligent scene detection and auto-editing to AI-driven color grading, audio enhancement, and content-aware transformations.

You will also integrate ML into Vedit

X’s marketplace to power talent matching, quality scoring, and smart recommendations. This is not a research-only position. You will ship production ML systems that directly impact the product experience and drive revenue.

• Design and build ML-powered video editing features for Vedit AI’s cloud-based platform, including auto-cut, scene detection, smart transitions, AI color grading, and audio enhancement
• Develop and train computer vision and video understanding models for content-aware editing, object tracking, and automated highlight generation
• Build NLP and speech-to-text systems for automated captioning, transcript-based editing, and intelligent content tagging
• Create and optimize recommendation and matching algorithms for Vedit

• Design data pipelines for processing, storing, and serving video and audio data at scale within the cloud editing platform
• Implement real-time and near-real-time ML inference pipelines optimized for cloud-based video workflows
• Develop quality scoring and automated review systems to maintain high standards across the Vedit

• Collaborate with the founder and engineering team to identify high-impact ML features that differentiate Vedit AI from competitors
• Monitor model performance, retrain as needed, and maintain production ML infrastructure
• Stay current with advancements in generative AI, video synthesis, and applied ML to keep our platform on the cutting edge

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit-learn, or similar)
• Experience with computer vision, video/image processing, or multimedia ML applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable ML infrastructure
• Experience building APIs and integrating ML models into web applications
• Comfortable working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering
• Understanding of real-time inference, model optimization, and latency-sensitive deployments
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environments

• Experience with video understanding models, temporal segmentation, or generative video AI
• Background in cloud-based media processing pipelines (FFmpeg, GStreamer, or similar)
• Familiarity with marketplace or platform ML (matching algorithms, search ranking, quality scoring)
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow)
• Interest in the creator economy, media production, or video editing workflows
