Data Management and Governance Analyst - Hybrid Opportunity

This is a hybrid position based at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.

As a member of the Surgery Partners Data Team, the Data Management Analyst plays a critical role in driving data organization, educating enterprise stakeholders, and maintaining data integrity. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about building a career in healthcare data and contributing to a growing data-driven culture.

• Maintain and Update Core Data Tables:
  Ensure accuracy and consistency of key data tables through regular reviews and collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Create and Manage Data Dictionaries:
  Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions and standards.
• Organize Shared Drives:
  Maintain structured and accessible shared drives for data resources.
• Define and Implement Data Standards:
  Establish new data definitions and standards to support organizational alignment
• Analyze and Communicate Changes:
  Evaluate data changes and clearly explain impacts to stakeholders.
• Drive Adoption of Standards:
  Manage cross-organizational efforts to implement and adhere to data standards.
• Manage Data Governance Committees and Processes:
  Oversee the company’s data governance committees and approval workflows for data changes and integrity.

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mathematics, Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: No prior experience required; strong interest in healthcare data and data management is essential.

• Familiarity with data tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint.
