Job Summary and Qualifications

The CMS Product Analyst II supports the MEDITECH Expanse Corporate Management System application through configuration, enhancement, testing, and ongoing support activities. This role focuses on hands‑on application support and developing functional expertise to help ensure the CMS platform meets defined clinical, operational, and enterprise requirements. The CMS Product Analyst II works with clinical stakeholders, IT partners, and other Expanse application teams to gather and document requirements, review current workflows, and assist in validating system solutions.

The analyst contributes to product planning by providing input on operational impacts, configuration considerations, and dependencies within the Expanse dictionary build, under guidance of senior analysts or product leadership. This role supports the build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of CMS enhancements to promote system stability and timely execution of approved initiatives. The CMS Product Analyst II collaborates with product development analysts and product leadership to execute assigned work, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing optimization efforts.

This individual contributes to maintaining system integrity, supporting organizational initiatives, and improving CMS related workflows through structured analysis and consistent application support practices.

General Responsibilities
  • Configure, develop, test, and support CMS solutions within the Meditech Expanse platform.
  • Analyze business and clinical requirements to design and implement CMS functionality under established standards and guidance.
  • Perform hands‑on testing and validation of CMS enhancements to support stable releases.
  • Collaborate with analysts, end users, and cross‑functional teams to document requirements and validate solutions.
  • Support the stability, performance, and optimization of CMS functionality through troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and enhance CMS‑related configurations to support evolving clinical and operational needs.
  • Serve as a key contributor for CMS issue resolution and escalation, providing analysis and recommended solutions to team members.
  • Coordinate with other Expanse application teams to support integration and consistent platform behavior.
  • Evaluate new CMS features, tools, and configuration options and provide input on potential value and impact.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with peers through documentation and collaboration.
  • Support CMS solutions aligned with approved business objectives and clinical workflows.
Relevant Work Experience

3+ years

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Other/Special Qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Extensive experience with Meditech applications and solutions, particularly on the Expanse platform.
  • Proficient in resolving complex production support issues with a methodical and efficient approach.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with a strong capacity to assess risks and recommend solutions in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships within the department and with business and product owners.
