AboutThe Role
Amrize is seeking a junior- to mid-level attorney (5–8 years post-law school experience) to support its Legal Center of Excellence (COE) for Procurement and Supply Chain. This is an enterprise-wide role supporting the Building Materials and Building Envelope businesses.
The role is designed as an entry-level COE position with meaningful responsibility and exposure to complex procurement, supply chain, and technology-enabled contracting matters. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience reviewing and negotiating IT-related procurement and commercial contracts, either from a law firm commercial/technology practice or an in‑house legal role.
This position will work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders and will play a key role in supporting scalable, consistent legal support across the enterprise.
What You’ll Accomplish- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of procurement-related agreements, with a particular focus on IT and technology-enabled contracts, including:
- SaaS and software license agreements
- Master services agreements (MSAs) and statements of work (SOWs)
- Cloud services, data, cybersecurity, and technology support agreements
- Professional services and consulting agreements
- Support broader procurement and supply chain contracting, including:
- Vendor and supplier agreements
- Logistics, transportation, and services contracts
- Framework agreements, purchase terms, and amendments
- Partner with Procurement and IT teams to:
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risk
- Ensure alignment with internal policies, delegation of authority, and contracting standards
- Support rollout and adoption of standard templates and playbooks
- Assist in the development and maintenance of COE tools, including:
- Contract templates and fallback positions
- Clause libraries and negotiation guidance
- Intake and escalation frameworks
- Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on issues such as:
- Data protection and information security provisions
- IP ownership and licensing
- Liability, indemnities, and risk allocation
- Contract governance and contract lifecycle management
- Coordinate with senior attorneys and external counsel as needed on more complex or higher-risk matters
- Perform other duties as assigned

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Required Work Experience- 5–8 years of post-law school experience, gained at:
- A law firm with a commercial, technology, or procurement-focused practice, and/or
- An in-house legal department supporting commercial or IT contracting
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating IT-related procurement contracts, including SaaS, software, and technology services agreements.
- Strong drafting and issue-spotting skills, with the ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance.
- Comfort working in a matrixed, enterprise environment and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of matters efficiently.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
