Position: IT Support Specialist: Grow with Cloud, Server & Networking

This role will partner closely with internal IT staff to support, maintain, and enhance the organization’s hardware, software, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT support experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for learning new technologies. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for employees across hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Install, support, and maintain server and network infrastructure components.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk incidents and service requests while meeting established SLA expectations.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and perform troubleshooting to ensure operational stability.
  • Perform software updates, hardware upgrades, and routine system maintenance.
  • Assist with end-user training and provide guidance on hardware and software functionality.
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and support activities.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and IT best practices.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or technical support environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and AWS.
  • Exposure to enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Power Shell and/or SQL preferred.
  • Experience supporting ERP or EDI systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of system security, database maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving business needs.
