Who You Are

You’re a collaborative professional, driven by intellectual curiosity to make meaningful impacts in healthcare. You face challenges as opportunities to find innovative solutions for partners, people, and communities, and you bring commitment, creativity, and compassion to your work.

Who We Are

Honest Health is committed to purpose, innovation, and partnership. Our team of healthcare experts collaborates with stakeholders—from health systems to providers—to deliver innovative solutions that elevate care, control costs, and support long-term health.

Your Role

The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst partners closely with central operational teams—Finance, Risk Adjustment, Quality and Care Management—and market analytics and leadership teams to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights. The role includes in‑depth and ad‑hoc analyses that drive operational efficiencies and strategic decision‑making.

Primary Functions
  • Support all core disciplines of Honest’s business (Medical Expense Management, Risk Adjustment/Clinical Documentation Integrity, Quality and Care Management) and serve as a resource for colleagues and leaders. Focus on a specific discipline based on organizational needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Honest Health’s data assets and analytics product inventory to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Lead end‑to‑end development of dashboards, tools, and analyses with minimal direction, ensuring outputs meet stakeholder needs.
  • Integrate and analyze data from diverse sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), health information exchanges (HIEs), and claims data housed in the electronic data warehouse (EDW) or other population health platforms.
  • Leverage advanced SQL skills to extract and analyze large, complex data sets, transforming information into reports, insights, tools, and presentations that communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritize high‑complexity ad‑hoc requests, refine problem statements, and deliver insights that influence business decisions.
  • Introduce automation, efficiency, and standardization into existing reporting tools and analytic workflows.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and mentorship to Junior Business Intelligence Analysts.
  • Serve as a strategic partner, building strong relationships within the Analytics team and across the business, from contributors to executive leadership.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity of data interpretation to support informed decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering to influence data pipeline requirements and enhancements.
How You Qualify
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 5 years of data analytics experience with large, complex data sets.
  • Minimum 3 years of Tableau experience building end‑to‑end dashboards.
  • 1+ year of healthcare analytics experience and a strong understanding of healthcare data and operational workflows.
  • Experience with value‑based care models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong SQL skills, preferably in a cloud environment such as Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (R, Python, SAS) is desired.
  • Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, and/or NLP in healthcare.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across functions and levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for process improvement.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complexity into clear, actionable structure.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
