Job Overview
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is building the next generation of cloud and AI infrastructure at global scale. As demand for GPU capacity, cloud regions, and strategic infrastructure delivery continues to grow, OCI needs senior individual contributors who can turn complex, cross‑functional change initiatives into executable delivery systems. This role is focused on operationalizing strategic infrastructure programs across engineering, supply chain, data center operations, capacity planning, finance, and executive stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings the execution mindset of an installation engineer, the systems thinking of an infrastructure architect, and the operational discipline of a senior program leader. You will help OCI move faster, reduce delivery friction, improve readiness, and ensure critical GPU and cloud infrastructure initiatives are delivered with clarity, accountability, and measurable impact.
- Drive strategic GPU and cloud infrastructure delivery initiatives from planning through operational handoff, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decision points.
- Translate ambiguous infrastructure priorities into practical execution plans, governance mechanisms, readiness criteria, and operating rhythms.
- Partner across engineering, supply chain, data center operations, capacity planning, finance, and tooling teams to identify blockers and drive resolution.
- Build scalable processes that improve how OCI plans, tracks, escalates, and delivers critical infrastructure programs.
- Establish operational readiness frameworks for high-density GPU and cloud infrastructure deployments, including site readiness, hardware availability, network readiness, validation, and handoff.
- Identify bottlenecks across people, process, systems, and data; create mechanisms that improve cycle time, accountability, and delivery predictability.
- Develop executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and operational telemetry that clearly show progress, risks, blocked capacity, and decisions needed.
- Drive cross‑functional issue resolution in high‑pressure delivery environments where ownership, root cause, or path forward may be unclear.
- Connect long‑range infrastructure plans with operational execution requirements, including headcount, tooling, process maturity, and regional delivery capacity.
- Create durable operating mechanisms that continue to work after the immediate escalation or program milestone is complete.
- Demonstrated strength turning ambiguity into structure, especially in complex environments with competing priorities, unclear ownership, and fast‑changing business needs.
- Strong systems‑thinking mindset, with the ability to understand how people, processes, data, tools, and organizational handoffs affect delivery outcomes.
- Proven judgment in separating signal from noise, identifying the few issues that truly require escalation, intervention, or executive decision‑making.
- High operational discipline, including comfort working through details, following up relentlessly, and ensuring commitments translate into measurable progress.
- Strong analytical orientation, with the ability to use data to clarify problems, test assumptions, measure execution health, and guide decision‑making.
- Executive‑level communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex operational issues without losing nuance or technical credibility.
- Comfort influencing senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams through facts, clarity, urgency, and trust rather than formal authority.
- Bias for action and ownership, with a track record of driving outcomes in environments where the path forward is not already defined.
- Practical process‑improvement mindset, with the ability to create mechanisms that improve execution without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Resilience and adaptability in high‑pressure delivery environments where priorities shift, blockers emerge, and decisions need to be made with imperfect information.
- Critical GPU and cloud infrastructure initiatives have clear owners, milestones, readiness gates, risks, dependencies, and executive decision paths.
