Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills, strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and the ability to exercise high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.

Additionally, all candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with participation in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
• Work in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area. You are required to have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

This role supports a “new” data center currently in various stages of development and construction. You may be assigned to a facility still under construction, requiring travel to established locations for training until your designated site becomes operational. Candidates must be willing to travel (over 50 miles) or commute (less than 50 miles) to active data center sites as needed during this transition period.

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience.

• Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).

USA, NV, Sparks – $27.00 - $48.00 USD hourly.
