Lead Data Engineer; T2

Position Summary

Lead data engineering execution in support of complex application development initiatives, ensuring data integrations, pipelines, and models align with established architectural standards.

• Collaborate with engineers to design, build, and execute data migrations between systems, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness across environments.
• Develop new data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools in an agile environment, supporting the end‑to‑end lifecycle: design, deployment, test, operations, monitoring, and support.
• Apply continuous delivery practices for automated pipeline deployment and schema versioning into production environments.
• Maintain strong focus on data quality, testing strategy, and test automation for migrations.

• Proficiency in Python with a history of delivering production pipelines.
• Experience building production scripts or services for data movement and validation.
• Proficient with Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Tabular Model/DAX, Microsoft Fabric) or comparable technologies.
• Real production experience with SQL and No
  
  SQL databases, especially SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Comfortable modeling data, analyzing source and target schemas, writing complex queries, and resolving data quality issues during migration.
• Experience using Git and Git Hub for distributed version control.
• Familiarity with agile methods and continuous delivery concepts.
• Knowledge of security, testing, performance, JSON, and REST principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This role is hybrid, based in our Nashville office.

The annual base salary range is $132,000 – $160,000 in Nashville, plus eligibility for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Compensation may vary based on experience, role tenure, business sector, and geographic location.
