Senior Data Scientist

Core Trust provides a B2B marketplace that has transformed how companies buy billions of dollars’ worth of supplies and services annually. They are on a mission to be the one place where buyers and suppliers connect, secure purchasing agreements, transact, and partner to realize savings.

To support this growth, Core Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their Data Solutions team. The team's charter is to foster a data-driven culture to encourage and enable the entire organization to make more informed decisions through data. This is a unique opportunity to bring knowledge of enterprise software offerings and understanding of data science methods and best practices to help Core Trust deliver the best experience possible for customers and partners.

• Work with other teams across Core Trust to develop key metrics to achieve business outcomes.
• Work cross functionally to translate business problems into solutions that can be solved and informed by data and automated with AI Agents.
• Apply analytical skills to dive deep into data to find key insights that impact the business.
• Develop models of usage, user behavior & business behavior to make recommendations and influence the product road map.
• Champion AB testing:
  Design, execute and analyze experiments to prove product change attribution.
• Utilize tools like SQL
  , Python
  , LLMs and platforms like Azure AI Foundry or Amazon Bedrock to execute analysis and create AI applications.
• Track and monitor projects in JIRA
  .
• Design, implement, and maintain analytics, models and LLM-driven scripts/software.
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and generate actionable insights.
• Work as part of a team to maintain a high-quality data lake house.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on machine learning, AI agents, and statistics.
• Be part of the Data Science Team to share ideas and best practices.
• Create dashboards and reports to clearly and concisely communicate results and insights.

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results), OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data science and analytics.
• Experience with design and maintenance of advanced data systems.
• Deep understanding of data modeling

• Comfortable working with data in a variety of formats and languages, like CSV
  , Parquet
  , XLSX
  , JSON
  , etc. and SQL

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms,
  OpenAI and Anthropic APIs
  , RAG-based chatbots
  , AI Agents
  , LLMs and other foundational AI/

• Ability to use your understanding of statistics and modeling to explain complex outputs to non-technical team members.
• Experience with tools like PowerBI
