Are you a Tier 3 troubleshooting expert who thrives on solving the "unsolvable"? We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist & Tester to join a major national healthcare enterprise. This is a critical role focused on maintaining the stability, security, and performance of a massive, distributed endpoint environment. If you enjoy deep-dive hardware testing, complex problem management, and mentoring others, this is the perfect stage for your technical expertise.
Here’sWhat You’ll Be Doing
- Dedicate half of your time to rigorous hardware and software validation, ensuring all configurations meet enterprise performance and security standards.
- Act as the final escalation point for the most challenging technical hurdles, utilizing deep research and cross-departmental collaboration to build lasting solutions.
- Maintain system images and develop automated scripts to streamline repetitive procedures and enhance software deployment efficiency.
- Serve as the go-to expert for mobile and endpoint device strategy, providing technical guidance to various internal stakeholders.
- Author comprehensive technical documentation, job aids, and training materials to empower your peers and improve global support workflows.
- Proven mastery of Windows desktop and server environments (modern versions), including sophisticated management of Group Policies and Active Directory.
- Significant experience in a formal testing environment, with the ability to analyze how hardware and software changes impact a large-scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Power Shell or VBScript to automate tasks and maintain existing system code.
- 2–4 years of experience supporting a vast, remote user base within a complex network architecture (TCP/IP, web technologies, and cloud integrations).
- A background in mentoring teammates and a natural ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation.
