Job Overview

Lab Corp is seeking an IT Service Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with flexibility.

Responsibilities
  • Client‑facing IT field technician performing new installations, break/swap service, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Install and troubleshoot HP Windows
    11 Enterprise computers, HP monitors, HP laser printers, Symbol barcode scanners, Dymo and Monarch label printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install and troubleshoot preconfigured Cisco networking devices (Meraki VPN, WAPs, patch panels) without cabling.
  • Maintain local IT hardware inventory and process RMAs.
  • Connect, install, and troubleshoot internet sources (ATT Nighthawks, Verizon Dragons, Cisco MG41/51, broadband modems).
  • Install proprietary software, schedule onsite installations with clients, and deliver training (onsite and via Webex).
  • Support clients including DR offices, hospital labs, Lab Corp patient service centers, and internal employees.
  • Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Service Now, Microsoft Office Suite, Webex, Teams, Helpdesk ticketing software, and People Soft.
  • Manage overnight travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 65lb and working at height with approved equipment.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and at least one year of IT work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Technology.

Job Standards
  • Client‑facing/field technician position.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Access to elevated work areas and use of ladders, lifts, platforms, or other approved equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 65lb.
