– Role Overview
Collaborate with the GCP team to develop and support various GCP cloud programs, including certifications, partner engineering, marketplace, and other cloud platform solutions.
Responsibilities- Work with GCP team on cloud programs (certifications, partner engineering, marketplace, etc.)
- Leverage experience with private, hybrid or public cloud technologies.
- Design multi‑cloud/multi‑zone high availability solutions.
- Implement cloud architecture/design across compute, storage, and networking services.
- Manage Google resource hierarchy, IAM, and service account provisioning.
- Apply implementation‑agnostic microservice patterns across frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Java, Angular, PHP, Ruby, .NET.
- Use Kubernetes, Istio or Linkerd service mesh technologies.
- Utilize observability tools including Grafana, Kiali, and Google Stackdriver.
- Deploy Dev Ops and Git Ops CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Tekton, and Flux.
- Design and develop Kubernetes operators.
- Package solutions using Helm charts, Cloud automation (Ansible, YAML), and Kubernetes orchestration with GKE.
- 10+ years designing and implementing distributed applications and systems.
- 10+ years’ experience in IT, enterprise data‑center technologies, and private cloud.
- 3+ years hands‑on architecting solutions on GCP.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, SQL/No
SQL, security, networking, and cloud‑based delivery. - Proficiency in software development and automation tools (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.).
- Experience managing Git repositories (Gitlab, Git Hub).
- Strong scripting in Java, C/C++, C#, Objective‑C, Python, JavaScript, or other languages.
- Experience in the business technology market with collaboration to sales and marketing teams.
- Experience with on‑premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations.
- Knowledge of VMware, KVM, or other virtualization software.
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and PaaS platforms (Pivotal, Cloud Foundry, Open Shift).
