Fusion Site is seeking a creative, technically minded SEO/Wordpress Support Intern to join our team in Nashville, TN (with remote flexibility). Working alongside our in-house SEO expert, you will help migrate and optimize our portfolio of local brand websites, improving their UX, content layouts, and conversion paths.

This position is perfect for someone looking to deepen their hands‑on expertise in Word Press and B2B / B2C SEO, while actively learning how to optimize site structures for traditional Google rankings and emerging AI‑driven search experiences (LLM search, answer engines, and semantic authority).

• Word Press Optimization: Maintain and optimize Word Press layouts, navigation, and elements for performance, usability, and conversion using Elementor libraries.
• SEO Strategy
  :
  Implement on‑page and technical updates, metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and image optimization to improve site visibility.
• Future‑Proof Search: Assist in shaping content and site architecture for both traditional search and LLM/AI‑driven search environments.
• Research & Analytics: Troubleshoot functionality issues and monitor organic performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms. (Training provided)
• Multimedia & Content Support: Collaborate with the content team to align SEO with marketing initiatives while helping create and optimize basic graphic and video assets.

(Experience with Elementor and Gravity Forms is a plus!)

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Web Design, or a related field, OR equivalent foundational project/portfolio experience.
• Solid comfort navigating Word Press dashboards (exposure to Elementor or Gravity Forms is a huge plus).
• A basic grasp of how HTML/CSS works (you know how to fix a broken line break or tweak a text color code).
• Detail‑oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing work across multiple websites and brands.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

• Experience with Elementor or similar Word Press page builders.
• Familiarity with Gravity Forms or other Word Press form tools and plugins (e.g. Yoast SEO).
• Experience supporting website migrations or redesign projects.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on‑page optimization, internal linking, site structure, and technical SEO considerations.

• Hands‑on experience improving websites for a growing national company and its portfolio of local brands.
